Emily is the founder of slnlaw LLC, and has been practicing law for over 20 years. Prior to going out on her own in 2009, she was a partner at the international law firm McDermott, Will & Emery in Boston. Emily focuses her practice on business and employment law, helping small businesses and individual employees resolve disputes, enforce their legal rights, and manage risk proactively.  Emily has been named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers list for each of the last five years, and wrote the book "Rules of the Road-What You Need to Know About Employment Laws in Massachusetts."​​  She was also recently honored as one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's 2018 Lawyers of the Year, for her work in achieving a precedent-setting victory at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court that significantly broadened the rights of consumers injured by generic pharmaceutical products.
Jenna is a 2013 cum laude graduate of the Quinnipiac University School of Law, with a Tax Law Concentration, and earned her LLM in taxation from the Boston University School of Law in 2015. Jenna leads the slnlaw ​​estate planning practice, and wrote the book "The Road to Peace of Mind- What You Need to Know About Estate Planning." Jenna is also a member of the firm's business and employment law practice, and has helped clients with classification as independent contractors, breach of employment contracts, employment discrimination, and more.
Rebecca is a 2007 graduate of Boston College Law School.  She joined us in 2012, after working as an intellectual property litigation attorney for  Fish & Richardson in Boston, Massachusetts, and clerking for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.  Rebecca concentrates in business and employment law.  At slnlaw, Rebecca has handled business and employment litigation, drafted and argued successful appeals in the Massachusetts courts, and represented both individuals and business owners in claims involving employment discrimination, overtime compensation and other wage and hour issues, and business disputes.

Aileen is a 2016 graduate of the Roger Williams University School of law, and joined the slnlaw business and employment law practice in January 2019. Prior to joining slnlaw, Aileen represented clients in housing litigation, including discrimination, and family law and divorce matters in Massachusetts probate courts.  At slnlaw, Aileen has worked with clients on employment discrimination matters, wage and hour and overtime claims, disputes arising from employee classification as independent contractors, and sexual harassment claims.
Jack is a 2017 graduate of Boston College Law School, and joined slnlaw in the summer of 2017. Jack has handled wage and hour and employment discrimination matters on behalf of both employees and employers, as well as disputes between businesses.  He has successfully resolved cases for small business owners as well as employees facing termination, nonpayment of wages, non payment of overtime, and misclassification.  He has also appeared numerous times at unemployment hearings and obtained unemployment benefits for terminated employees, and recently completed training by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination about investigating claims of harassment or discrimination in the workplace.
